MEGA FARMER FIELD DAY
Going Green contracted small holder farmers attended a Mega farmer field day organised by the Center Of agricultural Transformation (CAT) at the Natural Resources College smart farm on 6th April 2023. In furtherance of its objective of accelerating technology and innovations adoption, facilitating knowledge and skill transfer among smallholder farmers.
This year’s theme was Good Soil Health and Crop Diversification as Catalysts for Enhanced Agricultural Productivity.
CAT demonstrated to smallholder farmers the benefits of managing soils to sustain crop growth and effectively achieve crop diversification thereby enhance productivity and increase household incomes.
Our contracted smallholder farmers also had the chance to peer to peer exchange with other small holder farmers from other areas exchanging ideas and sharing knowledge on agronomy. For more information https://web.facebook.com/CentreAgTransformation
